Atsui [aht `su EE] - 1. The Japanese word for 'hot'. 2. The perfect way to describe Houston, Texas. Hello and welcome to the newest anime convention to hit Houston, Texas. This project has been over twenty years in the making. And trust us, it will be worth the wait. AtsuiCon is brought to you by the one and only DJ Laen; the creator of the great Sailor Moon Dance Remix of 1997. AtsuiCon will be different than other conventions that you may be used to. First of all, you can expect lower prices everywhere you look. Starting from the cost of registration to the comic market tables. We believe that anime conventions doesn't have to be expensive. As a non-profit organization, we will take any and all profit and put it back into the convention for the next year. This convention belongs to Houston. It's up to all of us, staff and guests, to make this convention better than any other in Texas... or the US. Even if the prices are low, you will still get a quality convention at a beautiful spacious hotel. We want to have a convention Houston can be proud of.

We don't have a location or dates for AtsuiCon2 yet. But, if you register online before we set our time and place, you're automaticaly entered into our raffle to win a Nintendo DS! Time is running out! We've already announced it'll be in the summer of 2009!

UPDATE!:

Right now is the best time to enter the raffle. As of February 1, the number of entries are less than TEN! Granted, you can only enter the raffle once. But a new Nintendo DS (that might be specialy modified*) for only $20 can't be beat!

* - Nintendo DS may or may not be modified at the time a winner is picked. But the DS can be modified if winner asks. Nintendo DS modiification will be a free service from AtsuiCon. ^_^
